"Tenute Cristiano - Carolea is a premium Italian single variety extra virgin olive oil, high in polyphenols (strong antioxidants) and with an ultra-low acidity. The oil is made from centenary olive trees in the family estate. The Cristiano family, now in its third generation, is committed to sustainable farming and continues to invest in quality and innovation, producing an award winning extra virgin olive oil. Tenute Cristiano - Carolea has been awarded the Slow Food Presidium oil status for the quality production and safeguarding of the Carolea olive cultivar.


Tasting notes
This oil has a distinctive aroma with clear sensations of unripe vegetables, olive leaf, fresh walnut and a hint of tomato, typical of the Carolea cultivar. Delicate in the mouth it surprises for the balanced tones of sweet, bitter and spicy and for its pungent sensations of chili and black pepper that complement the bitter notes of chicory and rocket.
