Tinga tostadas: a taqueria favourite – a crispy taco topped with spicy chipotle chicken. Our fiery Tinga paste is crafted from a blend of chipotle chillies, tomato and spices. We top ours with Salsa Roja for a tangy kick.
Unleash the fierce flavour in just 4 steps:
1. Prep: Fire up the oven to 180°C. Slice up the onion and chicken breast and mix with the Las Chicas Tinga Cooking Paste (the smaller sachet) in a bowl - set aside and let the chicken marinate. Shred the lettuce and save for later.
2. Sizzle: Add a good glug of oil to a frying pan and cook the chicken and onion mix on a medium-high heat for about 5 mins, giving it a good stir as you go. Then turn the heat down and simmer on low for another 5-7 mins until cooked through.
3. Bake: To make the tostadas, arrange the Las Chicas Tortillas on a baking sheet in a single layer and bake for 5 mins until golden and crispy.
4. Serve: Tostada time! Assemble by first spreading some sour cream on the tostadas, followed by the lettuce, some chicken and onion mix, and top with a generous drizzle of the Las Chicas Salsa Roja.
